Silver Machine's Night of the Living Dead: Rescored.
This Halloween, Capitol Hall invites you to experience George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead through the lens of space-rock band Silver Machine's acclaimed 2012 original re-scoring of the horror classic, presented for the first time with a Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio soundtrack remixed specially for the Capitol Hall by producer and Erwin local, Anthony Dorion.
Created as a complete original soundtrack to Romero's landmark 1968 film, which never received a soundtrack of its own, the Silver Machine score transforms the familiar nightmare into a hypnotic journey through psychedelic rock, atmospheric sound design, and cinematic improvisation. Rather than simply accompanying the action, the music becomes an active character in the story, amplifying the tension, isolation, and surreal dread that have made Night of the Living Dead one of the most influential films ever made.
More than a decade after its creation, the score has been remixed and remastered for its debut presentation in Dolby Surround, allowing audiences to experience the music with unprecedented depth, detail, and immersion. Swirling textures, thunderous low frequencies, and haunting sonic landscapes fill the room as the undead close in from every direction.
Part film screening, part live album listening experience, this special Halloween event celebrates both Romero's revolutionary vision and Silver Machine's unique reinterpretation of a cinematic masterpiece.
Spend your Halloween with the band, crew, and friends at Capitol Hall for a one-night-only presentation where horror history and immersive sound collide.
