Musical Instrument Petting Zoo with Johnson City Symphony Orchestra
Johnson City Symphony Orchestra (JCSO) members will lead a free interactive Musical Instrument Petting Zoo for ages 2-5 in Johnson City Public Library's Jones Meeting Center. The musicians will play Disney songs, nursery rhymes, and some classical music, and kids will be encouraged to dance, sing, clap, and get involved. The event will also include a craft and the opportunity for kids to have hands-on experiences with string instruments under the guidance of a JCSO musician.
