The Higher Ground Women’s Recovery Residence in Pennington Gap will host a Grand Opening event on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The day includes an evening program featuring music and an on-stage conversation with authors Barbara Kingsolver, Adriana Trigiani, and other special guests. The open house will offer food, music, and fun. The entire event is free and open to the public, though general admission tickets for the evening program are limited. Shuttles will run from there to the community center throughout Open House hours and after the evening program.
