A town-hall style teach-in with presentations on the Constitutional, ethical, political, and religious implications of the proposed amendment to the NC Constitution that would ban gay marriage but also remove legal recognition of civil unions, among other consequences. This amendment will be on the May 8th primary ballot. Among the presenters: Colin Stephans of the ACLU-NC; Dr. Adam Newmark, ASU Political Science Dept.; Dr. Matt Robinson, of the ASU Criminal Justice program; Rev. Marcia Cham of the United Methodist Church; Jen Jones of the Coalition to Protect NC Families.
