Sycamore Shoals Celtic Festival begins Friday night Sept. 10th with a Torchlight Calling of the Clans Ceremony open to the public free. Saturday -Sept 11th a procession of Clans and Opening Ceremony starts off this two day Celtic Festival. There is lots of - music, food, Clans, vendors, kids areas and events, costume contests with a King and Queen of the festival proclaimed (Mia & Dave Richards or Gretchen are judges), Best Legs in a Kilt Contest for the men, Haggis Toss & Broom Toss for the ladies as well as story tellers, Irish & Scottish Dancers, a Harpist, Penny Whistle lessons and lots of fun for the entire family.
