The second annual Rolling at The River Bunco Tounament is Thursday, March 3 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Doors open at 6:45 pm and participants will be treated to yummy food, “mock” cocktails, songs from the Joyful Noise River Choir, Bunco, swag bags, and great prizes including $50.00 gift certificates to the Johnson City Country Club, free box lunches from Heavenly Ham, free lunch and a gelato from Mona Lisa’s, Java Bucks from Java Rush, free one hour “Financial Checkup” from Davis Garrison III of Preservation Financial Group and more. For fun, players are encouraged to wear pink and black. The event is at The River located at 125 West Main Street and the suggested cost per player is $25.00 with all proceeds going to The River. The mission of The River is to provide all women with a safe place to care for themselves and family with basic services that educate and empower women for independent living.
