PIANOFORTE CONCERT Kimberly Cann October 21 — Sunday at 3:00 p.m. $6 Museum Members; $8 + Museum Admission Non-Members East Wing, Upstairs Gallery Pianist Kimberly Cann returns to our series with another exciting and varied program of Sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Florence Price. Kimberly Cann is a concert pianist, educator, and social advocate and currently serves as President of the Asheville Area Piano Forum. Born in the West Indies, Kimberly moved to the US with her family at age 6, and by the age of 18 she had performed with five orchestras and won her first national piano competition. In 2006 she received her masters degree from the Eastman School of Music. She has been featured on several national and international media programs and has had the pleasure of working with many esteemed artists through the years. Pianoforte concerts fill up quickly, so please reserve your seats early by contacting the Museum’s front desk for reservations at 828.253.3227. Pricing is $6 Museum Members; $8 + Museum Admission Non-Members and will be located in the East Wing, Upstairs Gallery of the Museum.
