The City Youth Ballet of Johnson City presents the holiday classic "The Nutcracker," bringing to stage the fantasy world of Clara and her beloved Nutcracker Prince as they journey from a Victorian Christmas party through a snowy wonderland and on to the Land of Sweets. The cast includes 40 dancers. The production is under the direction of Susan Pace-White, City Youth Ballet artistic director, Sarah Sims, CYB associate director, and Erin Coker. Performances are set for Friday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 17; at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets ($12 for adults and $10 for children) are available beginning Dec. 1 at Bear 'n Friends, Party Central, or at the door.
