Bat Exhibit Turns Myths Upside-Down This Halloween, visitors to the ETSU and General Shale Brick Natural History Museum will experience "Masters of the Night: The True Story of Bats," a touring museum exhibition produced by Evergreen Exhibitions. The exhibit, on display September 25th, 2010 – January 2, 2011, is bringing the mystery surrounding bats out of the dark. The popular exhibition dispels popular misconceptions about bats, describes their ecological importance and gives visitors an appreciation of the true wonders of the bat world. The exhibit includes special effects, multi-sensory interactive displays, a Gothic castle and environmentally lifelike settings. The museum is located 1.8 miles from exit 13 on Interstate 26. All-Access Admission is $7 for children ages 5-12, $9 for seniors, and $10 for adults. Hours are 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. seven days a week.
