A free opportunity for creative entrepreneurs to learn Facebook and Twitter for business ’Round the Mountain: Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Network and Mountain Empire Community College Small Business Development Center (MECC-SBDC) invite the public to attend a free three-hour hands-on workshop for social media. This workshop is designed for artisans, galleries, crafters, and other creative entrepreneurs. It is also open to the general public. Attendees will learn how to set up a Facebook page and a Twitter feed for their small business. Registrants must have experience using computers and the internet, and should have an existing email account. This event takes place May 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Mountain Empire Community College Center in Lee County. The address is 1542 West Morgan Avenue, Pennington Gap, VA 24277.
