ForImmediateRelease The artwork of classical artist Amber Magamoll will be showcased at Venus&Fur in downtown Johnson City during the upcoming First Friday event on March 2nd. Amber’s works reflect the sketches and compositional drawings the old masters did in preparation for their frescoes. Such sketches contain the basic components of the finished work. In them, we see Amber’s vision of the essence of these classical masterpieces. She also will display several charcoal portraits, demonstrating her flair for structure and realism. Ambers devotion to detail is seen not only in the artwork, but also the presentation. She tones her own paper, makes the walnut ink that is used in all the sketches and hand cuts quill pens. She also designs and hand paints French mats for all her works. # # #
