FATZ
FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 3101 W. Market St., Suite 101 restaurant in Johnson City, Tenn., on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, to benefit the Johnson City-Washington County Veterans’ Memorial. From 7:30 – 10:30 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the Johnson City-Washington County Veterans’ Memorial. Proceeds from the breakfast will go toward the Veterans’ Memorial Committee’s capital campaign to raise funding for Phase Two of their project to construct a memorial to honor the military service of the men and women of our country. Their goal is to construct a perimeter fence, a third curved back granite wall to accommodate additional inscriptions and a sheltered Kiosk that will store vital data for each veteran’s inscription. Tickets for Short Stacks for Big Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser, are $7 for adults and free for children six and under, and can be purchased by contacting Brenda Barnette at (432) 767-9705 or Moe Baines at (432) 389-5131. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts for Johnson City-Washington County Veterans’ Memorial.
