Join us at Rose Center for Christmas Village & Crafts and Holiday Open House, December 3rd and 4th. The building has been beautifully decorated for the season, and several activities are scheduled for this festive weekend. A Craft Sale will be held from 11 am to 8 pm on Friday, December 3 and from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, December 4 in the classroom wing. Expect to find jewelry, woodworking, sewn items, handmade soaps, home décor, and of course, seasonal items such as Christmas ornaments and decorations. Friday, December 3, from 6:00-8:00, the Rose Service Guild will host the annual Holiday Open House and Reception for December’s featured artist, Bobbie Lovell, with refreshments and live entertainment by The Dulcimer Guys. The Hal Noe Gallery will be transformed into Grandma Claus’ Kitchen. Children can have Breakfast with Grandma Claus, Saturday from 9:30-10:30am. They will enjoy muffins with hot chocolate, and fill out a Wish List that Grandma Claus will give to Santa. Meanwhile, grownups can shop for baked treats like cheese wafers, praline crackers, pine bark, and gifts in a jar, all prepared by Rose Service Guild members. The Children’s Touch Museum will feature face painting and gingerbread cookie decorating for children ages 4-10. More arts and crafts, made by members of the Rose Service Guild and other local artists will be for sale in The Keener Community Room. There is no admission charge for any of these events.
