What sorts of consumption are good, virtuous, and consistent with Christian teaching? At Green Interfaith Network's February 19th meeting, 4-6pm, St. John's Episcopal Church, 500 N. Roan St., Dr. Laura Hartman will share insights from the Christian tradition to elucidate faithful perspectives on ethical consumption. Dr. Hartman is assistant professor of religion at Augustana College, Illinois. Her book, The Christian Consumer: Living Faithfully in a Fragile World was published by Oxford University Press.
