Can you dig it? Girl Scouts can! The ETSU and GSB Natural History Museum is hosting another “Can You Dig It?” Girl Scout Geology Program on Saturday, October 9 for grades K-5 and Saturday, October 16 for grades 4-12. During this three hour program, scouts will get their hands dirty hunting for real fossils on the fossil site, learn about the history of the Appalachia’s only Miocene site, find out more about careers in geology, make trace fossils, and participate in other engaging, age appropriate activities related to geology. This program is a fun way to inspire your growing scientists to dig deeper into the world of geology, science and natural history!
