Come out to the ETSU Natural History Museum for FREE crafts, activities, lecture and games at the first ever "Bonsai Bonanza" event. It's perfect for families of all ages! Arts and crafts stations, where you can paint your own bonsai with air-blowing techniques and create your own framed piece of nature, will be open throughout the entire event. The younger children can also play different quizzes and matching games to help them understand how plants grow. Make sure you don't miss the BIG GAME! "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" Seed to Plant game will begin at 1 p.m. Anyone and everyone of any age is welcome to participate. A lecture given by Dr. Michael Zavada, Professor and Chairman of the ETSU Biological Sciences Department, will take place at 3:30 p.m. Don't forget, you will also get the opportunity to view locally grown bonsai trees that are on display for free during your visit. We hope to see you this weekend! For more information, please contact Jessi Webb at 423-439-3640 or webbjr1@etsu.edu
