Dr. Richard Hays, internationally recognized for his work on the letters of Paul and on New Testament Ethics, discusses the question: Does the New Testament offer answers to the important ethical/moral issues of the twenty-first century? Hays’ book The Moral Vision of the New Testament: Community, Cross, New Creation was selected by Christianity Today as one of the 100 most important books of the twentieth century. Hays is the dean of the Divinity Schol and George Washington Ivey Professor of New Testament, the Divinity School, Duke University. Dr. Hays lecture will take place in the Board of Visitors Lounge of the Van Dyke Center on the campus of Emory & Henry College starting at 8:15 on both April 10th and 11th.
