The Mary B. Martin School of the Arts and East Tennessee State University present New Orleans’ based Hot 8 Brass Band in the Annual Homecoming Concert scheduled for Thursday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Martha Street Culp Auditorium in the D.P. Culp University Center. Hot 8 Brass Band has epitomized New Orleans street music for over a decade. Admission to the performance is $18 General Admission and $13 for students and seniors. The Troubadours are a talented, young bluegrass band playing contemporary and traditional bluegrass music. They will be playing at The Down Home Saturday night, November 13th at 9PM. $10 at the door.

ETSU’s Mary B. Martin School of the Arts presents “Artois the Goat” with Producer Richard Reininger as part of the South Arts Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers. Following a screening of his film, “Artois the Goat,” Reininger and the audience will engage in a discussion about the film and his work as a filmmaker. A reception with the filmmaker will follow.
