The Mary B. Martin School of the Arts and East Tennessee State University present New Orleans’ based Hot 8 Brass Band in the Annual Homecoming Concert scheduled for Thursday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Martha Street Culp Auditorium in the D.P. Culp University Center. Hot 8 Brass Band has epitomized New Orleans street music for over a decade. Admission to the performance is $18 General Admission and $13 for students and seniors. Following a screening of his film, “Artois the Goat,” Reininger and the audience will engage in a discussion about the film and his work as a filmmaker. A reception with the filmmaker will follow.
